A shared proxy's IP is also used by other customers, which is why it costs less. A private proxy's IP is used only by you. Both come as static IPs that stay the same, or as rotating proxies whose IP changes automatically.
A rotating proxy gets a new IP automatically on the interval you pick, from 5 seconds to 24 hours. You can also get a new IP at any time from your dashboard, through the API or with a link.
